Marketing
Examines marketing concepts in a dynamic marketplace, and marketing's role in the company. You will practice making marketing decisions in a general management context, and understand how to formulate and implement a value-driven marketing strategy.


Accounting
An introduction to financial and managerial accounting. You will come to understand financial statements, and how to analyze and interpret them effectively.


Managing and leading people
Explores how knowledge-based organizations deploy their people to improve business performance. You will discover some of the dilemmas of high commitment management' within the reality of day-to-day organization life, and learn about people management: motivation and the psychological contract; resourcing, compensation, performance management, and employee development.


Finance
Introduces financial management and provides more practice in financial statements analysis. You will learn to understand balance sheet structure, and how to: analyze capital expenditures; value different assets; work with complex investment projects; manage equity, bonds and long-term loans; evaluate the cost of capital; value inventory; manage current assets and liabilities; and how to evaluate a company.


Microeconomics
Introduces the economics principles that govern the production, exchange, and distribution of goods and services, and the operation of markets.

Organisation theory
Using a theoretic base of macro-organization and strategic management, the course emphasizes practical application guided by analysis of organizational design problems in the context of strategic performance improvement objectives.


Management information systems
Introduces strategic information technology. You will learn to apply and manage systems to align information technology with business strategy through a systemic approach linking corporate strategy, technology management, and organisational behaviour.


Statistics and business research

Emphasises practical applications and data interpretation, using spreadsheets extensively, the course explains a wide range of useful statistical tools including: summary measures and the graphical presentation of data; probability distributions; linear regression and fitness tests; and time series data forecasting.

Industry and competitive analysis
Introduces methods and tools to analyze industries and competitors for a strategic standpoint. You will learn to understand the economics of an industry, assess competitive pressures, define, and map competitors' positioning, and develop scenario plans.


Project management
Demonstrates methods and tools for defining, planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and at cost. You will learn how to challenge accepted theories by analyzing active projects, reviewing experiences, and benchmarking industry data.


International legal risk management
Introduces the legal risks encountered by operational managers and shows how to communicate business issues to lawyers. You will learn to apply legal risk management techniques, and understand international sales and contract law, corporate governance and international dispute management.


Strategic management
Building on earlier courses on industry and competitive analysis, explores the strategic behavior of organizations and individuals. You will learn how to formulate and implement strategy to provide substantial on-going improvements in business performance focusing on major transformation and cultural changes in high-tech organisations.


Advanced finance
Examines in detailed decisions made by financial managers. You will learn how to formulate and implement financial solutions to corporate problems and opportunities using mainly case studies and discussions.


Macroeconomics / Geopolitics
Provides macroeconomic tools for tracking global markets, assessing risks, and understanding the rapidly-changing global economy. You will learn how to analyze available real-time economic data to draw conclusions guiding investment decisions and company strategy without drawing on the advice of experts.


New business venturing
Explains the issues and practices of funding new business ventures. You will learn about the relationship and interaction between venture capital providers and entrepreneurs; their respective strategies and interests; what is the process of coming to a deal through business plan analysis, financial modeling, investment analysis, due diligence and closing.


Advanced Strategy
Proposes an overview of the latest advances in corporate strategy through both the analysis of best practices and the study of the most recent thoery.
