EDHEC is one of the first French schools to have installed a JobinLive terminal on campus in cooperation with sponsors, Société Générale. This multi-media terminal allows students to record a short self-presentation video which can be added to their on-line CV. It can also be used as an interview training tool, allowing students to be interviewed by a virtual recruiter and enabling them to self-analyse their interview skills.
Created in late 2005, JobinLive is the first European company to specialise in video-recruitment facilities providing recruiters, schools and institutions the option to actually see the candidate in an interview setting and get an idea of how he or she comes across in public.

Candidates record a virtual interactive video of about 3 minutes describing themselves and answering various standard interview questions. This can then be posted on the JobinLive recruitment website, or added as a link to the students' CV. This enhances a candidate's on-line job application and differentiates significantly an applicant from others.
The recruiters also have access to the all virtual CVs through the web link offered through JobinLive or through EDHEC's online CV book, which can be accessed by all of the School's company partners.
Candidates can also use the JobinLive software to train their interview skills in 6 different languages with virtual recruiters. Once the virtual interview is completed, the candidate can see his recorded performance and detect his strengths and weaknesses through the video. He can then choose to discuss his performance with one of the members of the Careers Service team and receive feedback on how to make improvements.
Last year EDHEC's career service handled 17 000 job offers and 14 000 internship offers and this new service is expected to make EDHEC candidates stand out even further in their job search.
